Job summary

EssilorLuxottica’s TeamVision/Kraff Eye Institute seeks a full-time front desk coordinator to support doctors, patients, and visitors at our Chicago practice. You’ll help with scheduling, reduce wait times, collect charges, and maintain HIPAA-compliant confidentiality to deliver an unsurpassed patient experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service is required.
• Strong communication and listening skills are essential.
• Good organizational skills and problem-solving ability are needed.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients without delay.
• Promptly answers the telephone in a friendly and courteous manner.
• Schedules appointments to optimize patient and provider time.
• Notifies doctor/provider of patient arrival and any delays.
• Makes reminder calls for appointments and orders pickups.
• Records and updates financial information and processes charges.
• Maintains office inventory and equipment; coordinates supplies.
• Ensures HIPAA confidentiality and patient privacy.
• Maintains a safe and compliant office environment.
• Performs other duties as assigned by Practice Manager.
