Job summary

Optimum Therapies is seeking a full-time Patient Care Coordinator for our Eau Claire clinic. You will greet patients, schedule appointments, handle phone calls, collect payments, and manage patient data while ensuring smooth daily operations. Work schedule is ~40 hours weekly, Monday–Friday, with clinic hours 7:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m.

Qualifications

• Friendly, patient-focused mindset with excellent communication skills.
• Comfortable using computers and multiple software systems.

• Healthcare admin or reception experience preferred; health insurance verification familiarity a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and provide a positive experience.
• Schedule appointments and manage daily clinic flow.
• Answer phone calls from patients and physician offices.
• Collect insurance co-pays and private payments.
• Enter and maintain patient information in systems.
• Verify insurance eligibility and prior authorizations.
• Prepare treatment areas and coordinate room availability.
• Collaborate with therapists and staff to ensure care.
• Represent Optimum Therapies at outreach events when needed.
