Qualifications

• Front desk/medical receptionist or customer service experience preferred.
• Comfortable using computers and learning new software quickly.
• Strong communication, attention to detail and multitasking in a healthcare setting.
• Friendly, professional demeanor and team orientation.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and check in, creating a friendly and professional first impression.
• Manage provider schedules using scheduling software.
• Collect co-pays, co-insurance, deductibles, and private payments at time of service.
• Answer phones and respond to emails with excellent customer service.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and confidentiality in all patient interactions.
• Keep the front desk and waiting area organized, efficient and welcoming.
• Assist with administrative tasks and update patient information as needed.
