Optum NY/NJ is seeking an Associate Patient Care Coordinator to join our Carmel, NY team. This role supports the care team, ensures patient information accuracy, and delivers excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

You will verify insurance, schedule appointments, check in/out patients, and maintain records while following HIPAA and OSHA guidelines. Some travel to other offices may be required; benefits provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years computer proficiency (Outlook, Excel, Word).
• 1+ years customer service or healthcare experience.
• Ability to work listed hours and travel to other offices as needed.

Responsabilités

• Greet patients and visitors promptly and courteously.
• Verify patient information (name, address, insurance).
• Perform insurance verification on the date of service.
• Check in/out patients and schedule appointments.
• Obtain signatures for required documents and maintain medical records.
• Communicate with care team to ensure continuity of care.
