Doctors of Physical Therapy in Bay City, MI, is seeking a full-time Patient Care Coordinator for our Bay City clinic. The role focuses on front desk operations, patient check-in/out, and coordinating care with clinicians and staff to ensure a welcoming experience.

The ideal candidate will be self-starting, possess excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, and be comfortable with medical terminology, insurance benefits, copays, and patient balances.

Responsibilities

• Provide detailed instructions to patients for their visits.
• Review and evaluate patient charts for data entry accuracy.
• Work as a team to ensure an efficient environment and timely calls to patients and referral sources.
• Familiarity with Outpatient Rehabilitation/Medical services and medical terminology.
• Scanning, faxing and other clerical duties.
• Collect copays and patient balances.
• Patient care assistance as needed.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Knowledge of Insurance benefits.
