Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• 1+ years in a medical office (scheduling, check-in/out, insurance verification, records).
• Proficient with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook; able to use multiple web applications.
• Ability to cover other offices when needed.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and collect required information in person or by phone.
• Verify insurance and obtain signatures for documents.
• Maintain accurate medical records and scan/organize paperwork.
• Schedule patient and referral appointments following guidelines.
• Use EPIC to document and update patient information.
• Coordinate with care teams and communicate effectively with patients and families.
• Ensure HIPAA and OSHA compliance and handle confidential information.
• Assist with limited clinical duties and support multiple offices as needed.
