Rosin Eyecare Downers Grove is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator to support the daily administration of doctors, visitors, and patients, ensuring an unsurpassed patient experience and helping the practice be the premier destination for vision care in the community.

You will greet patients, answer calls, schedule appointments, verify eligibility, collect charges, handle reminders, maintain office systems, and safeguard confidential information while adhering to HIPAA and company policies.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year strong customer service skills (internal/external).
• Strong communicator and listener.
• Problem solving ability.
• Organization skills.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients without delay.
• Prompts calls are answered courteously.
• Schedules appointments in person or by phone to optimize time and satisfaction.
• Notifies doctors of patient arrivals and monitors schedule adherence.
• Handles reminder calls for confirmations and pickups.
• Records and updates financial info, collects charges, and processes third-party claims.
• Maintains inventory and orders office supplies with the Practice Manager.
• Protects patient confidentiality per HIPAA.
• Ensures accurate insurance eligibility and coverage.
• Maintains office systems and a safe work environment.
• Complies with policies, attendance, and dress code.
• Performs other duties as needed by the Practice Manager.
