Qualifications

• Front desk and patient care coordination experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and empathy in patient interactions.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and serve as primary contact for interactions.
• Answer calls, respond to inquiries, and manage emails professionally.
• Schedule and optimize provider appointments and manage cancellations.
• Confirm appointments and reduce no-shows with reminders.
• Verify insurance and enter patient data in EMR accurately.
• Explain coverage and patient financial responsibilities.
• Prepare patient charts and documentation before visits.
• Record charges, co-pays, and payments in EMR; reconcile balances.
• Monitor patient flow and adjust schedules to reduce bottlenecks.
• Communicate wait times and next steps to patients.
• Coordinate with clinical teams for smooth transitions.
• Support retention via recalls and annual/medically necessary visits.
• Maintain organized, clean front office; perform other duties as assigned.
