AEG is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator to manage front desk operations, patient flow, and inter-team coordination. You will ensure smooth scheduling, insurance verification, and accurate EMR entry to deliver high-quality patient experiences.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic computer literacy and ability to learn practice management systems (EMR).
• Strong organizational and communication skills with patient-centered service.

• Ability to identify issues and contribute to solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients, customers, and vendors; primary contact for patient interactions.
• Answer calls and manage email or digital communications promptly.
• Schedule patient appointments and optimize provider schedules.
• Confirm appointments and reduce no-show rates with reminders.
• Enter and maintain patient demographics in EMR accurately.
• Explain insurance coverage, benefits, and patient financial responsibility.
• Prepare charts and documentation for visits to support patient flow.
• Process charges, co-pays, and payments in EMR; balance accounts.
• Run reports to ensure charges are billed and up to date.
• Monitor patient flow and adjust schedules for efficiency.
• Communicate wait times and next steps to patients.
• Coordinate with clinical teams for seamless transitions.
• Support recall and reactivation outreach for ongoing care.
• Maintain a clean, organized front office; perform other duties as needed.
