AEG Vision is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator to manage front desk operations, support patient flow, and optimize schedules across the care team. You will ensure a positive, efficient patient experience by coordinating with providers and staff, handling communications, and maintaining EMR accuracy.

The role emphasizes proactive service, attention to detail, and collaboration in a fast-paced environment on-site at our Sugar Land, TX location.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic computer literacy and EMR familiarity.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and act as primary contact for interactions.
• Answer calls, respond to inquiries, and manage emails.
• Schedule appointments and optimize provider calendars.
• Execute confirmations and reminders to reduce no-shows.
• Verify insurance and enter demographic data in EMR.
• Communicate coverage, benefits, and patient responsibilities.
• Prepare charts and documents for visits.
• Process charges and support billing in EMR.
• Run reports to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Monitor patient flow and adjust as needed.
• Coordinate with clinical/optical teams for smooth transitions.
• Support recall and retention efforts for follow-ups.
