Upperline Health is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator based in the East Orlando area. You will support physicians, welcome patients, collect information, and ensure smooth front-desk operations. This role involves coordinating appointments, managing EMR records, and assisting with billing tasks while maintaining patient confidentiality.

The position emphasizes teamwork, compassionate patient interaction, and adherence to healthcare privacy standards in a fast-paced clinic environment.

Qualifikationen

• Experience as a front-office receptionist or assisting in an office or healthcare clinic or in customer service.
• Podiatric or orthopedic practice experience preferred.
• Medical billing and coding experience preferred.
• Experience working in an EMR, Athenahealth preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Empathetic, professional demeanor with patients.

Aufgaben

• Greet patients and check them in, ensuring accurate information.
• Assist with appointment scheduling and reminders.
• Coordinate with physicians and care team to maintain on-time schedules.
• Retrieve and file patient records; manage documents in EMR.
• Handle patient payments and maintain confidentiality of records.
• Assist with office supplies and general front-desk duties.
