Drayer Physical Therapy in Pittsburgh, PA is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator I to support clinic growth through efficient patient intake and office management. This role collaborates with the Clinic Director to ensure smooth front-desk operations and exceptional patient service.

The PCC-I will learn and perform multiple office tasks, coordinate referrals, verify insurance, and manage deposits while maintaining a welcoming environment for patients and staff.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
• Ability to multitask and manage busy front-desk operations.
• Experience with medical office workflows is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collect all money due at the time of service.
• Convert referrals into evaluations and schedule patient visits.
• Verify insurance coverage for patients and collect deposits.
• Provide outstanding customer service and maintain an organized front desk workspace.
• Create an inviting clinic atmosphere and make welcome calls to patients.
• Assist with non-clinical documentation and scheduling to support clinic efficiency.
• Monitor arrival rate and manage schedules to optimize patient flow.
• Support training and compliance activities as required.
