Job summary

Barrow Brain and Spine is seeking a front-desk/clinic support professional to register patients, manage EMR records, and Coordinate daily clinic operations in a fast-paced neurosurgery setting.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a medical setting is preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational ability and priority-setting.

Responsibilities

• Register new patients in the EMR with demographics and insurance details.
• Ensure all records and notes are available to physicians before visits.
• Open chart encounters and maintain accurate patient records in the EMR.
• Greet patients, room them, and assist with clinic flow.
• Take vitals and record assessments for physician review.
• Enter orders, e-prescriptions, and create visit summaries.
• Schedule follow-up appointments and coordinate referrals as needed.
• Maintain patient confidentiality per HIPAA guidelines.
