UnitedHealth Group is hiring an Associate Patient Care Coordinator (Adults) to support clinic operations in Texas. The role includes patient registration, insurance verification, collecting payments, scheduling diagnostics and follow-ups, and answering phones.

Schedule is weekdays 8:00 AM–5:00 PM CST, with opportunities to contribute to a team focused on efficient patient care. Candidates should have a High School Diploma/GED and at least 6 months of medical office experience, plus proficiency

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6+ months of medical office experience.
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients on arrival and manages wait time.
• Complete check-in/out tasks including insurance verification and precertifications.
• Collect co-pays/coinsurance/deductibles and issue receipts.
• Manage cashier box and daily deposits per company policies.
• Process walk-ins and schedule appointments; answer phones and take messages.
• Maintain medical records; scan, file, and prepare for scheduling.
