Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of computer proficiency across Outlook, Excel and Word.
• 1+ years of customer service or healthcare experience.
• Ability to travel to other locations for coverage purposes.
• Flexibility to work the schedule listed in this posting.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in person and by phone, providing directions as needed.
• Collect and verify patient information (name, address, insurance).
• Perform insurance verification at the date of service.
• Follow security and HIPAA guidelines and Optum policies.
• Answer calls promptly and route messages as appropriate.
• Maintain organized work queues and complete pending actions such as insurance eligibility.
• Obtain patient signatures and upload IDs and insurance cards.
• Schedule and coordinate patient appointments.
