Job summary

Western Dental Services, Inc. is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator to greet patients, introduce them to our office, coordinate treatment services, and build lasting relationships in a welcoming dental environment.

The role requires excellent communication, a passion for outstanding customer service, and comfort discussing treatment costs, insurance, and payment options; travel for training may be required. This is a full-time position with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years in customer service, sales, receptionist, or equivalent, preferably in healthcare.
• Experience with dental practice management software such as Denticon/Dentrix.
• Excellent communication skills with patients, staff and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients in a timely, professional and engaging manner.
• Maintain a productive daily schedule and schedule future appointments in coordination with patients and dental staff.
• Provide patient consultations and communicate information about treatments, costs, insurance, and payment options.
• Contact patients to follow up on visits and build lasting patient relations.
• Ensure compliance with health, privacy, and safety regulations.
• Travel as needed for training and to perform job functions.
