Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Ability to work independently, organize, and prioritize concurrent responsibilities.

• Proficient in MS Word, email, and data entry in a Windows environment.

• Ability to work under pressure in a complex healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Schedule all patient appointments related to treatment and referrals.
• Coordinate scheduling with departments to ensure efficient patient flow.
• Interact with patients, families, providers, and staff to identify needs and resolve issues.
• Update patient contact and insurance information in EHR/registrations.
• Communicate scheduling needs with providers and care teams.
• Prioritize and manage scheduling requests and emergencies.
• Assist with staff training and cross-coverage as needed.
• Triage calls from referring physicians, patients, and families.
