Job summary

Southeast Primary Care Partners in Georgia seeks a Patient Service Representative to be the frontline for patients, handling scheduling, check-in, and records while delivering courteous service.

You will collect payments, manage referrals, and maintain accurate files, ensuring timely communication with providers. A high school diploma and one year of admin/data-entry experience are required; knowledge of medical terminology is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED required.
• One year of related administrative or data-entry experience.
• Working knowledge of medical office procedures and terminology.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• ICD-10 and CPT experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients and manages 20-minute wait times.
• Assists with intake, including copying documents.
• Collects co-pays, co-insurance, and deductibles; issues receipts.
• Manages cashier box and daily deposits per policy.
• Processes walk-in patients and visitors.
• Answers phones and schedules appointments; returns visits.
• Schedules referrals as indicated.
• Supports patient outreach (next-day reminders, AWV).
• Manages medical records; files/scans; prepares for schedule.
• Ensures correspondence is scanned or filed promptly.
• Performs related duties as assigned.
