Qualifications

• Position requires high school diploma or GED and data entry experience.
• Experience with medical terminology is preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills are essential.
• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and accuracy in records.
• Familiarity with AIDET and healthcare procedures a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and manage 20 minute wait times.
• Assist with intake and copy required documents.
• Collect co-pays and deductibles and issue receipts.
• Manage cashier box and daily deposits per policies.
• Process walk-in patients and visitors.
• Answer phones and schedule appointments, incl. return visits.
• Schedule referrals as indicated.
• Support patient outreach such as reminders.
• Maintain and file patient records and scans.
• Ensure timely filing of correspondence.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
