Job summary

CareNow is seeking a Patient Care Representative on a PRN basis to join our urgent care team. You will help patients check in, answer calls, verify insurance, and ensure all demographic information is collected accurately.

The role supports a patient-centered approach across a busy clinic with flexible hours. The position requires a year of clinical experience preferred, BLS certification within 30 days, and strong customer service skills.

Qualifications

• 1 year of clinical experience in a patient care setting is preferred.
• Obtain BLS certification within 30 days of start required.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to work with multiple computer programs.

Responsibilities

• Check-in patients in a timely manner and follow Web Check-in procedures.
• Answer clinic calls and provide information or refer questions as needed.
• Verify insurance timely and accurately.
• Ensure occupation client’s preference card is followed and occupational procedures.
• Review patient paperwork for completeness and collect insurance/demographic information.
• Complete Daily Balance Checklist after each shift and document all forms of payment.
