Job summary

CareNow urgent care, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a Patient Care Representative PRN. You will check-in patients, answer calls, verify insurance, and support clinicians. This role emphasizes compassionate patient care and efficient front-desk operations.

Qualifications

• 1 year of clinical experience in a patient care setting is preferred.
• Obtain BLS certification within 30 days of start required
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to work with multiple computer programs

Responsibilities

• Checks-in patients in a timely manner and follows Web Check-in procedures
• Answers clinic phone calls and provides information or routes questions as needed
• Verifies insurance promptly and accurately
• Ensures the occupational client’s preference card and procedures are followed
• Reviews patient paperwork to ensure completeness and collects insurance/demographic information
• Completes Daily Balance Checklist after each shift and documents all payments
