You will check-in/out, verify insurance, schedule, maintain EMR records, assist providers, collect specimens, administer vaccinations per orders, and provide direct patient support.

Qualifications

• Specialized Diploma as a Medical Assistant or completion of LVPG Medical Assistant Trainee course.
• Proficiency in patient interactions, EMR, scheduling, and basic clinical support.
• BLS certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and manage check-in/check-out with accurate registration; verify insurance and collect payments.
• Schedule appointments and coordinate with providers to optimize clinic flow.
• Maintain EMR accuracy and complete required documentation; support lab specimen collection and exam room setup.
• Assist providers with patient information collection and follow-up activities; provide direct clinical support as needed.
• Complete post-discharge follow-up calls within 2–3 days when applicable.
