Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Be professional and empathetic to build trust with patients.
• Coordinate and perform patient check-in/check-out, verify insurance eligibility and process referrals.
• Schedule appointments to optimize clinic workflow.
• Handle patient inquiries.
• Maintain electronic medical records (EMR) and ensure accuracy.
• Maintain logs including quality control and stat cart checks.
• Collect and document patient data (vital signs, measurements).
• Assist providers with collecting patient information for reviews.
• Complete rooming and expedite care while identifying patient risks.
• Prepare exam rooms and maintain supplies.
• Collect lab specimens and complete requisitions.
• Administer medications and vaccinations per orders within scope.
• Support patient procedures and examinations.
• Conduct follow-up calls 2–3 days post-discharge.
