Shields Health is seeking a Patient Care Representative for a per diem role at our Surgery Center. You will register patients, verify insurance and capture demographics, and process payments with a focus on accuracy and courtesy.

Requirements include at least one year in healthcare, proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel/Word), and preferred medical terminology knowledge. Monday–Friday daytime availability is expected, with lifting duties as described in the job details.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of work experience in healthcare is required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word).
• Medical Terminology background preferred.

Responsabilités

• Register patients and verify insurance and demographics.
• Process co-payments and other payments; balance cash drawer daily.
• Answer and triage patient phone calls and provide excellent service.
• Maintain knowledge of office equipment and computer applications.
