Job summary

Shields Health Care Group is seeking a Patient Care Representative/Tech Aide on a per diem basis. You will greet patients, collect copays, assist with IPad check-in, and coordinate language services as needed.

You will also support technologists and radiologists to ensure smooth patient flow and maintain strict confidentiality in all patient interactions. The role requires CPR certification, strong communication and computer skills, and careful data entry.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• CPR certification required.
• Excellent communication and computer skills essential.
• Attention to detail and typing accuracy required.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and collect copay/deductible amounts.
• Assist patients with iPad check-in and troubleshoot as needed.
• Identify when language services are required and coordinate.
• Distribute films/CDs while maintaining HIPAA and privacy policies.
• Collaborate with technologists/radiologists to maintain patient flow.
• Process mail and deliveries.
• Prepare setup for next day\'s schedule and flag issues.
• Maintain confidentiality of all patient groups.
• Verify information in systems and assist in data entry.
• Respond to scheduling emergencies professionally.
• Support Customer Care with machine utilization and waitlists.
• Address patient and doctor concerns accurately and efficiently.
• Keep management informed of situations affecting operations.
• Stay updated on policy/procedure changes.
