Job summary

Fast Pace Health is seeking a Patient Care Specialist to provide front-desk support and patient registration in a fast-paced clinical setting. You will greet patients, collect demographics and insurance information, verify coverage, and coordinate with the medical team to ensure smooth patient flow.

Strong customer service, basic PC skills, and familiarity with MS Office are essential. CPR certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or its equivalent with a CPR license.
• 1 year of medical office experience preferred.
• Experience with billing and coding is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet, register, and discharge patients with excellent customer service.
• Input patient demographics and financial information at registration.
• Verify and update patient insurance information at registration.
• Maintain knowledge of insurance plans, copays, deductibles, and coverage limits.
• Facilitate patient flow by communicating with clinicians and staff about arrivals and delays.
• Assist in keeping the reception area clean and organized.
• Support training and onboarding for new employees as needed.
