Job summary

Fast Pace Health is hiring a Patient Care Specialist to deliver exceptional front desk support, patient registration, and insurance administration. You will assist in maintaining a welcoming environment, handle co-pays, and coordinate with nurses and clinicians to ensure smooth patient flow.

The role requires strong customer service, basic MS Office skills, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinic setting. CPR certification and high school education are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and CPR license; 1 year of customer experience preferred.
• 1 year of medical office experience with basic terminology and insurance knowledge preferred.
• Basic PC skills and proficiency with MS Office (Outlook/Word) required.

Responsibilities

• Greet, register, and discharge patients with high customer service.
• Input patient demographics and financial information at registration.
• Verify and update patient insurance information at registration.
• Collect co-pays, deductibles, and Self-Pay amounts; process payments.
• Answer phones in a courteous, patient-centered manner.
• Maintain reception area and support clinic staff and workflows.
