Rocky Hill Surgery Center LLC is seeking an experienced Patient Service Representative to join our ophthalmology team in Rocky Hill, CT. This role is the first point of contact for patients, families and visitors, handling check-in/check-out, scheduling, and billing support with a commitment to excellent care.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years in a healthcare front office or customer service, knowledge of insurance verification and billing, and proficiency with EMR and practice management

Qualifications

• 1–2 years in healthcare front office or customer service.
• Knowledge of insurance verification, billing, and medical terminology.
• Proficiency with practice management systems, EMR, and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients and visitors professionally.
• Verify demographics, insurance, and authorizations prior to procedures.
• Collect co-pays and balances; provide receipts and maintain records.
• Schedule procedures and appointments per guidelines.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
