Evergreen Physical Therapy in Midland, Michigan, seeks a dedicated Medical Receptionist to be the frontline liaison between patients, providers and staff. You will schedule appointments, verify insurance, and coordinate patient care within the clinic.

You will support PT staff with patient setup, maintain accurate records in the EHR, and ensure smooth front desk operations while upholding patient-centered service and compliance standards.

• Coordinate with various employees to ensure efficient patient care delivery.
• Assist physical therapy staff with patient setup, preparing treatment areas, and guiding patients through prescribed exercises.
• Support patient mobility, transitions, and safety during therapy sessions.
• Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of the physical therapy gym, equipment, and treatment rooms.
• Monitor and update patient care plans in collaboration with healthcare teams.
• Implement and maintain patient care protocols and procedures.
• Facilitate clear, compassionate communication between patients, families, and healthcare providers.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
• Track and follow up on test results, therapy progress notes, and medical referrals.
