Job summary

Allina Health is seeking a Clinic Business Representative to greet patients, register them accurately, collect co-pays, and support front-office operations at the point of care. You’ll use Epic and MyChart tools to manage in-basket tasks, patient records, and communications with care teams.

The role emphasizes friendly patient interactions, attention to detail in documentation, and coordination of information releases while maintaining a clean lobby and efficient check-in processes.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age with education and/or experience per job description.
• 2+ years of computer knowledge including working with an electronic medical record and Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook); Excel preferred.
• 2+ years of customer service, clerical, or healthcare experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and perform the registration process in person or by phone.
• Collect co-pays and answer questions regarding financial assistance programs.
• Perform Epic and In-Basket tasks and ensure accurate MyChart appointments and rescheduling.
• Support medical records functions including scanning, release of information, and handling documentation.
• Maintain lobby/areas cleanliness, restock supplies, and handle basic office communications.
