Job summary

Claremedica is seeking a Customer Service oriented Patient Care Concierge to be the first point of contact for patients. You will greet patients, handle registrations, check-in/out, and coordinate with medical staff to ensure smooth front-office operations and excellent patient care.

The role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinic environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
• A minimum of 1 year of work experience in a medical clinic or customer service.
• BLS preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication, time management and organizational skills.
• Willingness to travel locally/regionally up to 10% as needed.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and various software; 40 WPM typing.
• HIPAA/AHCA experience preferred.
• Healthcare experience preferred.
• EMR system experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interact with patients and visitors in a polite and friendly manner.
• Enthusiastically greet every guest entering the center.
• Prepare new patient registration, check-in, and check-out.
• Answer phone calls professionally and take detailed messages.
• Manage provider schedules including scheduling, rescheduling, and confirming appointments.
• Verify patient demographics and insurance information; collect copays and outstanding balances.
• Ensure correct appointment types and reconcile daily cash as needed.
• Scan documents into the EMR system and process faxes.
• Maintain front office cleanliness and office supplies.
