Job summary

DOCS Dermatology Group is seeking a Medical Receptionist to be the welcoming front desk for patients and vendors. You will answer calls, collect insurance information, schedule appointments, and support the management team in delivering compassionate care.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent certificate.
• Experience with medical terminology is a plus.
• Ability to learn related center tasks and assist management and physicians.
• Self-motivated to achieve the highest patient care and customer service standards.

Responsibilities

• Answering multi-line phones
• Greeting patients and vendors
• Signing patients in and out, obtaining insurance information and any other necessary data
• Scheduling appointments on the phone and at checkout desks
• Collecting outstanding balances and copays
• Providing patients with support and guidance as needed
• Maintaining safe, secure and healthy work environment by establishing and following standards and procedures.
