Job summary

MD Now Urgent Care in Boynton Beach, FL is seeking a Patient Care Representative to support patient flow and insurance verification in a fast‑paced urgent care setting.

The role requires flexibility to work 8am–8pm, Monday through Sunday, with a focus on accurate check-in, customer service, and coordination across clinic programs. Experience is preferred and BLS certification must be obtained within 30 days of start.

Qualifications

• 1 year of clinical experience in a patient care setting is preferred.
• Willingness to travel to other clinics in the area for scheduling purposes.
• Obtain BLS certification within 30 days of start required
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to work with multiple computer programs

Responsibilities

• Checks-in patients in a timely manner and follows Web Check-in procedures.
• Answers clinic phone calls and provides information or referrals as needed.
• Verifies insurance timely and accurately.
• Ensures occupational client’s preference card is followed and occupational procedures.
• Reviews patient paperwork to ensure completeness and collect insurance/demographic information.
• Completes Daily Balance Checklist after each shift and documents all forms of payment.
