Job summary

Accendra Health is seeking a customer-focused team member to greet patients and manage front-desk duties. You will handle in-person visits, answer calls, verify insurance, and coordinate with the branch and sales teams to resolve issues.

This role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple systems while assisting patients and referrals with care plan requirements.

Qualifications

• Education and/or Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least one‑year related work experience.
• No certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Act as first point of contact to patients arriving in person.
• Answer inbound calls from customers on a multi-line phone system and troubleshoot common issues.
• Process branch duties: creating and working with new orders, reviewing systems, confirming delivery appointments, verifying insurance, and obtaining authorizations.
• Work with sales team, referrals and/or patients to gather documentation needed to meet insurance guidelines.
• Collect credit card payments and billing information, reconcile daily receivables, and submit to the lock box.
• May perform downloads of recording devices and other respiratory equipment as required.
