Job summary

Advocate Medical Group in Park Ridge, IL is seeking a Patient Service Representative (PSR) to support providers, connect with patients, and help ensure a seamless, compassionate experience.

You will work Monday–Friday 7am–5pm with five 8-hour shifts, occasional Saturday 9am–1pm about once per month, and travel may be required. Previous customer service experience and ability to handle difficult callers are valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One to two years related customer service experience.
• Experience handling difficult callers/customers/patients.

Responsibilities

• Patient Services: provide high-quality service to patients for appointments, tests, bills and referrals via in-person, phone or online interactions.
• Billing Services: enter billing information at time of service and follow up on missing data.
• Medical Record Services: maintain accurate and timely medical records.
