Advocate Medical Group (AMG) is seeking a Patient Service Representative to join the ambulatory care team in Illinois. You will support providers, connect with patients, and help ensure a seamless, compassionate experience daily.

This full-time PSR role offers 40 hours per week, with Monday–Friday shifts of 8.5 hours and occasional Saturday coverage. Benefits include health, retirement plans, and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
1-2 years related customer service experience.
Experience handling difficult caller/customers/patients.

Responsibilities

Patient Services: Provides efficient, high-quality service to patients who arrive for appointments or who telephone or visit in person to request appointments or information on tests and procedures, bills and charges, referrals, and other matters.
Billing Services: Ensures entry at time of service of billing information on the patient and payer and accurate follow-up on missing information.
Medical Record Services: Upholds standards of the practice and of the medical group for accurate and timely medical records.
Locations: Rotate between Lutheran General, Park Ridge, Glenview, Des Plaines, and Buffalo Grove locations.
