Job summary

Accendra Health’s Branch Coordinators deliver exceptional patient service by phone and in person, ensuring orders are received and processed accurately. They work with patients, providers, and team members to bill insurance plans and secure necessary authorizations.

Responsibilities include coordinating with sales and referrals, collecting payments, and ensuring timely documentation for billing. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential in a busy healthcare branch.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year of related work experience.
• Experience with multi-line phone systems preferred.
• Two years in office/healthcare/call center is a plus.
• Experience utilizing a multi-line phone-system is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as first point of contact for patients arriving in person.
• Answer inbound calls and provide information; troubleshoot issues and escalate as needed.
• Process branch duties: create and manage orders, verify insurance, obtain authorizations.
• Gather documentation to meet insurance guidelines for billing.
• Collect payments, reconcile receivables, and submit to lock box.
• Conduct outbound patient satisfaction calls and handle documentation.
