Job summary

Prime Healthcare Services is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for Dallas Medical Center in Farmers Branch, TX. This full-time daytime role supports patient care in the Telemetry department, including ADLs, mobility assistance, vital signs, and safe environment maintenance.

The CNA provides wound care under RN direction, stocks rooms, and helps with patient transport. Benefits include health coverage, paid time off, and retirement options.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with state certification is required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required or preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification upon hire is preferred.
• EKG certification upon hire is preferred.
• BLS (AHA) within 30 days of hire and maintained.
• Knowledge of Medical Terminology.
• Minimum six months’ experience in an acute care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with ADLs such as bathing, dressing, and toileting.
• Help with mobility, transfers, and feeding as needed; monitor intake/output.
• Take and record vital signs; observe and report changes; assist with wound care under RN.
• Stock and maintain supplies; keep patient rooms clean and safe.
• Assist in transporting patients within the hospital.

We are seeking a CNA, also referred to Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). They will assist with patient care by supporting daily activities, mobility, feeding, and vital signs while monitoring for any changes. Additionally, the CNA, will help nurses by maintaining supplies, assisting with wound care, and ensuring a clean, safe environment.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to):

• Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) like bathing, dressing, and toileting

• Help with mobility, including turning, repositioning, and transferring patients to prevent skin breakdown, you may also feed patients who need assistance and monitor intake/output

• Take and record vital signs (temperature, blood pressure, pulse, respiration), observe and report changes in a patient’s condition to nurses, you may also help with wound care under the direction of an RN

• Stock and maintain supplies in patient rooms, ensure the environment stays clean and safe

• Assist in transporting patients within the hospital
