Job summary

Prime Healthcare seeks a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to support patient care in the Telemetry department. You’ll assist with ADLs, mobility, feeding, and vital signs while monitoring for changes in condition.

You'll help nurses with wound care, maintain supplies, and ensure a clean, safe environment. CNA certification and willingness to start BLS within 30 days are required.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), State approved Certification required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Current Phlebotomy certification upon hire, preferred.
• Current EKG certification upon hire, preferred.
• Current BLS (AHA) within 30 days of hire and maintain current.
• Knowledge of Medical Terminology.
• Minimum six months experience in acute care hospital or physician’s office preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) like bathing and toileting.
• Help with mobility and turns to prevent skin breakdown; assist feeding as needed.
• Take and record vital signs; observe and report changes to nurses; assist with wound care under RN direction.
• Stock and maintain supplies in patient rooms; keep environment clean and safe.
• Assist in transporting patients within the hospital.

We are seeking a CNA , also ref erred to Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) . They w ill assist with patient care by supporting daily activities, mobility, feeding, and vital signs while monitoring for any changes. Additionally, the CNA, will help nurses by maintaining supplies, assisting with wound care, and ensuring a clean, safe environment.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to):

• A ssist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) like bathing, dressing, and toileting
• H elp with mobility, including turning, repositioning, and transferring patients to prevent skin breakdown , you may also feed patients who need assistance and monitor intake/output
• T ake and record vital signs (temperature, blood pressure, pulse, respiration), observe and report changes in a patient's condition to nurses, you may also help with wound care under the direction of an RN
• S tock and maintain supplies in patient rooms, ensure the environment stays clean and safe
• A ssist in transporting patients within the hospital
