Job summary

Resurrection Medical Center in Chicago, IL is seeking a Patient Care Assistant to support patients in Telemetry by assisting with activities of daily living and providing basic nursing care under the supervision of the RN in charge of the team.

This full-time role requires CNA certification, BLS within 30 days, and preferred phlebotomy/EKG credentials with at least six months of acute care experience. Night shifts and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Current Phlebotomy certification upon hire, preferred.
• Current EKG certification upon hire, preferred.
• Current BLS (AHA) within 30 days of hire and maintain current.
• Possesses knowledge of Medical Terminology.
• Minimum six months previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician’s office preferred.

Responsibilities
