Job summary

Emerus operates a network of small-format hospitals, including the Harmarville facility. The PCA/CNA position supports nursing processes with both indirect and direct patient care under RN oversight, while performing related clerical duties and ensuring patient safety.

The role emphasizes patient-centered care, accuracy in vital signs and documentation, and collaboration with the healthcare team to provide timely, quality services in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• 2 years of work experience in an acute care hospital as a Nursing Assistant or enrollment in nursing program is required (preferred in OK).
• Pennsylvania candidates must complete Act 33 and Act 73 clearances within 5 years or before start date.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced indirect and selected direct patient care under RN supervision.
• Deliver meals, assist with activities of daily living, and transport patients as needed.
• Answer call bells, perform data entry, and maintain patient rooms and equipment.
• Uphold safety standards and adhere to PPE protocols and hospital policies.
