Job summary

Emerus is seeking a Nursing Assistant to support the nursing process under the direction of an RN, performing indirect and selected direct patient care in a 16-bed small-format hospital. This full-time role emphasizes growth, patient safety, and teamwork in a fast-paced medical setting.

The PCA will take vital signs, assist with meals and mobility, answer call bells, and help prepare patients for procedures while adhering to PPE and safety protocols in Oklahoma.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• 2 years of work experience in an acute care hospital as a Nursing Assistant or currently enrolled in an accredited nursing program (preferred in Oklahoma).

Responsibilities

• Delivers advanced indirect and selected direct patient care under the supervision of an RN or physician within the hospital-approved PCA scope.
• Assists with meals, mobility, hygiene, transfers, and basic patient care while maintaining clean patient rooms.
• Performs data entry, monitors vital signs, notes intake/output, and ensures patient safety and adherence to protocols.
