Job summary

Emerus Holdings, Inc. in Pennsylvania is seeking a Nursing Assistant for PRN Day shifts (7 AM–7 PM) at a 20-bed small-format hospital.

You will perform advanced indirect and selected direct patient care duties under the direction of an RN and support the nursing process, including vital signs, glucose checks, EKGs, and patient transport. Responsibilities also include assisting with meals, personal care, housekeeping, data entry, and serving as unit clerk as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, required.
• Current BLS certification, required.
• 2 years of work experience in an acute care hospital as a Nursing Assistant, preferred.
• PA Act 33/Act 73 clearances may be required within 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced indirect and selected direct patient care under RN direction.
• Take vitals, blood glucose checks, monitor intake/output, and assist with procedures.
• Assist with meals, mobility, baths, transport, and assigned treatments.
• Maintain rooms and equipment; perform data entry and unit clerk duties when needed.
