Job summary

Emerus Holdings, Inc. seeks a Patient Care Assistant (PCA) / CNA for our Harmar location. The 18-bed small-format hospital operates on a Day Shift (7A-7P) with PRN availability, offering night/weekend differentials and referral bonuses.

You will support nursing staff with indirect and direct patient care, monitor vital signs and assist with meals, mobility, and transport while maintaining a clean, safe environment. BLS is required; CNA preferred and English fluency is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• CNA certification preferred.
• Current BLS certification required.
• 2 years of work experience in an acute care hospital as Nursing Assistant or enrolled in an accredited nursing program.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced indirect and direct patient care under RN supervision and as directed.
• Take vital signs, glucose checks, EKGs, monitor intake/output, and maintain related records.
• Assist with meals, mobility, baths, and transport of patients; keep rooms and equipment clean and orderly.
• Support unit operations as assigned and adhere to safety and PPE protocols.
