Job summary

Emerus Holdings, Inc. seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant for a PRN Days position at a 20-bed small-format hospital. The role supports nursing staff by performing indirect and selected direct patient care under supervision, helping with meals, mobility and patient comfort, and ensuring efficient unit operation.

Required qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED, current BLS certification, and fluent English. Prior acute care CNA experience is preferred; PA clearances may apply.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• 2 years of work experience in an acute care hospital as a CNA or enrollment in an accredited nursing program (this qualification is preferred for hires in Oklahoma).
• Ability to understand written instructions and perform basic mathematics; demonstrates skills for assigned specialty area/function or assigned procedures.
• Fluency in English; written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced indirect and selected direct patient care under RN or physician supervision.
• Take vitals, blood glucose checks, perform EKGs, monitor intake and output, and maintain related records.
• Assist with meals, baths, mobility, transports, and housekeeping as needed.
• Ensure safe care to patients adhering to policies, procedures and standards of care.
