Job summary

Emerus is seeking a Patient Care Assistant (PCA/CNA) for day shift PRN at Harmar location. The role supports nursing under an RN, performing indirect and direct patient care and related clerical tasks. Strong teamwork and adherence to safety standards are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• 2 years of acute care hospital experience as Nursing Assistant or enrolled in nursing program (preferred for Oklahoma hires).
• Certified Nursing Assistant (preferred).
• Fluency in English, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced indirect and selected direct patient care under RN supervision.
• Assist with meals, mobility, baths, and transport of patients; perform data entry and unit clerk tasks.
• Monitor vital signs, blood glucose, EKGs and maintain related records.
• Ensure safe patient care within policies and budgetary constraints.
