Job summary

Emerus is seeking a Patient Care Assistant (PCA/CNA) for the Night Shift (7P-7A) at our Harmar location in Pittsburgh, PA. This PRN role supports nursing with indirect and direct care and performs clerical tasks under RN supervision.

The ideal candidate has a High School diploma, current BLS, and is able to work the required shifts. Prior acute care experience is preferred; bilingual not required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• 2 years of acute care hospital experience as a Nursing Assistant or current enrollment in a nursing program; preferred for certain hires.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced indirect and selected direct patient care under RN supervision and as per PCA skills inventory.
• Take vital signs, monitor intake/output, assist with meals, mobility, and patient transport.
• Perform clerical tasks, data entry, and unit clerk duties as assigned.
