Job summary

Advocate Condell Medical Center - Med Surg: IU Tower 4 is hiring a Nursing Assistant in Libertyville, IL. The role supports RNs with patient care, daily tasks, and documentation in the EMR. Requires GED/HSED or HS Diploma, Basic computer skills, and good communication.

Work schedule is full-time dayshift (0.9 FTE) with three 12-hour shifts per week (0630-1900), rotation of holidays, and mandatory Sunday-Thursday availability. Certification requirements include BLS and state Nurse Aide status.

Qualifications

• GED/HSED or High School Diploma required.
• Basic computer skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication and strong organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist RN with daily patient care including bathing, feeding, hygiene, and mobility.
• Measure and document vital signs, intake/output, daily weights in EMR.
• Perform purposeful rounding and communicate observations to RN.
• Assist in admission, transfer and discharge, room setup and patient belongings.
• Collect urine, stool, and sputum and assist with point-of-care testing.
• Handle errands, stock nursing area, clean equipment, and assist with patient positioning.
