Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist patients and families with billing, insurance, and financial assistance questions.
• Review account information to identify balances and provide guidance on payment arrangements.
• Process payments accurately in accordance with institutional procedures.
• Verify patient insurance and financial information for accuracy and completeness.
• Document interactions and account updates in systems in a timely and accurate manner.
• Coordinate with internal departments to resolve discrepancies or escalate issues as needed.
• Ensure HIPAA and institutional policies when handling patient information.
