Job summary

UC Health in Kentucky is seeking a Patient Accounting Representative to support the revenue cycle by billing electronically, posting cash, and pursuing self-pay collections. You will assist the manager with daily collection activities, contact patients for past-due balances, use letters and other correspondence, and request medical records as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant Revenue Cycle experience.
• Experience with Epic Revenue Cycle applications preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in billing and collections.

Responsibilities

• Assist the manager in daily collection activities.
• Collect past due accounts from patients via phone, letters, and other correspondence.
• Post cash and scan relevant documents.
• Request medical records as needed and provide customer service.
• Support revenue cycle performance metrics and quality reviews.
